Alicia Pitts represents clients in complex commercial litigation matters, with experience in both trial and appellate advocacy. Alicia began her legal career as a law clerk at the Texas Supreme Court, and she draws upon this experience to advocate for her clients using the clear, concise, and well-reasoned arguments that judges find persuasive. Alicia has represented clients from a number of industries, such as the medical, oil and gas, and franchise sectors, and her practice spans all stages of litigation—from discovery and pre-trial motions through appellate briefing.
Prior to joining VHH, Alicia was part of a top-ranked appellate litigation group and later served as in-house corporate counsel, a role that makes her particularly attuned to her clients’ needs.
Alicia graduated summa cum laude from SMU Dedman School of Law, where she served as case note and comment editor for the SMU Law Review and as an intern at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. She remains involved at SMU Law by serving with community leaders on the committee that administers the Thomas W. Luce III Centennial Dedman Law Scholarship, of which she was the inaugural recipient.
