Weldon Sloan

Associate

Weldon Sloan handles complex commercial litigation and appeals, with an emphasis on oil and gas disputes. In his practice, Weldon frequently draws upon his extensive experience as a judicial law clerk in state and federal courts. Before joining Vartabedian Hester & Haynes, Weldon served as a law clerk for the Hon. Brett Busby of the Texas Supreme Court, the Hon. Rebecca Rutherford of the Northern District of Texas, and the Hon. E. Lee Morris of the Northern District of Texas Bankruptcy Court. During law school, Weldon served as an intern for the Hon. Mark Lane of the Western District of Texas and as a member of the Texas Law Review editorial board. Weldon has also published writings in legal journals on topics related to federal courts, the First Amendment, and bankruptcy.
